We are conveniently located 5 minutes from Downtown by taxi (10-15 minutes from Kyoto Station).

Please ask the taxi driver to take you to HEIAN JINGU. This is an extremely famous cultural landmark in Japan.

From Picture 1 you can make out the orange shrine visible through the enormous tori gate. As you are driving or walking under the tori gate you will see the Municipal Museum of Art on your right (Pictures 2,3), and the National Museum of Modern Art on your left (Picture 4). Both of these museums regularly hold Japanese and International exhibitions. Please contact us for details of their upcoming shows.

Picture 5 shows the front of Heian Jingu. The red X is the place that I will meet you at any pre-arranged time. I will be standing on the sidewalk just in front of the low wooden barrier.

From this point it is no more than a 2 minute walk to our house cum showroom. We will walk East toward the hills for 100 meters (Picture 6), cross over Okazaki Street and take the side street next to the Kanpo Museum (Picture 7). A 50 meter walk along this small street will bring us to ‘Hotel Japanesque’. Taking a left immediately after this hotel (Picture 8) and heading straight for about 100 meters (Picture 9) will bring us to the home of zen-zen0 (Picture 12). It is directly across from a sushi restaurant by the name of Ajimano (Pictures 10, 11).
